Sara is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) based in Washington. She has experience in the private sector conducting fire scene examinations to determine the origin and cause of fires and explosions. Before joining Jensen Hughes, Sara was a structural firefighter/EMT and certified wildland firefighter. She also worked in laboratory science as a hemodialysis technician and a phlebotomist. She has experience teaching math/science and fire safety to high-risk students and leading fire education/safety classes through KCFD44. Her teaching experience gives her excellent rapport with people and the ability to understand fire science through a different lens.
